Skyway Leasing Inc offers flight training programs for the following certificates and ratings:

After the Private Pilot Certificate you will study and train to be an Instrument Pilot. The instrument rating is added to your Pilots certificate.

The instrument rating gives you many advantages. Yes, you can fly in the clouds but the Instrument rating is the key to flying in complex airspace and understanding how the airspace system works. You will fly 50 hours of cross country time to various different airports to gain valuable experience in the airspace and operating at more dense traffic locations prior to taking the instrument training and checkride.  Next up is the training for the Commercial Certificate. Now the fun begins. Learn Chandelles, Lazy 8's, Steep spirals, steep turns, many new types of stalls, slow flight, etc. Develop your hands on skills in a manner that will transfer to any plane you fly. We want you to fly these maneuvers from the right seat to prepare you for the next level. That of the Certified Flight Instructor.

From High School to the Airlines

After Graduation you can start Flight Training. Usually in about 6 months or so (Each student is different.) you can complete your training thru Flight Instructor. Now you can start earning money as a CFI. Your training as a pilot continues because you learn so much while teaching. You master your trade. You can also enroll in our educational program for your Professional Pilot degree with Thomas Edison State University. Most students earn their degree in 2 1/2 years giving them a path forward in the aviation world that is unheard of.   None of the airlines can hire anyone until they are 21 years old. Using this innovative program you will have between 1500 and 2500 hours by the time you are eligible for the airlines.  Most universities want you to enroll in their reduced hours ATP program so they can keep you in school. We allow you to control your own life. Most aviation degree programs will graduate you with a Commercial Certificate after 4 years. Then you have to get the CFI and build time to qualify for the job. Instead become a CFI first. Continue your education while you are flying and be first in line at the Airlines.
